BEX was established after years of undertaking projects for clients with a more long term view.  There are many phenomenal designers globally that do iconic and really stunning work.  My clients require a more wholistic approach.  Often they have accumulated properties in cities they frequent, destinations the love to spend holiday time in, have global offices or projects of passion or investment.  What they don’t have is time to refine and maintain these spaces - we do this with a Birdseye view.  We don’t undertake initial builds, long or full renovations, but specialise in making sure the spaces our clients move between are functioning well and are enjoyable for them - eliminating small frustrations with design quickly.

 

Full builds and renovations means a lot of speculation about how clients will use the spaces in their homes and offices.  It doesn’t always come to fruition once the space is being lived in or worked from.  "My teams approach is to limit ourselves to a client list that we can understand on a depth that project based architects or interior designers may not afford over the life span of a project.  And no task for these clients is too small, making us their go-to, to pinpoint rooms or properties that aren’t functioning as well as they could be and renew these spaces."  For example, super modern minimalist spaces might be fun to purchase, however become frustrating or difficult to maintain once you have moved in.  It’s about marrying the vision you fell in love with when you purchase or build a property and refining or renewing that once you start living or working in the space.
